The Work Package n.2 main objective is to improve the energy management of the stations through an evaluation tool that will allow the creation of a station network for energetic sustainability.
The energy evaluation system is indeed the central product of this Work Package n.2. The system is available on the website in the "Certificate" section. The station managers have to ask for a password and once they have got access to the system, complete the evaluation simply by selecting one of the multiple options for each question. The required data include building area, thermal insulation, lighting system, heating, use of renewable energy and also mobility criteria.
As a final result, the system’s output gives a global rating from one to five stars and a score for each management block.
Station managers can complete the assessment individually or with our help through a video call (using GoToMeeting or Skype).
Once a large number of certifications has been reached, the SUDOE area will have a network of stations evaluated with the same criteria. This ranking will help managers to know and correct their deficiencies and reduce management costs.
